In September, 2014, the National Geographic Society and GlobeScan published Greendex 2014. Greendex has been published since 2008 and this new edition surveyed 18,000 consumers in 18 countries. One of the top findings in 2014 is that 61 percent of the consumers are very concerned about environmental problems, compared with 56 percent in 2012 .
